Media Statement on Reinstatement of Texas Heartbeat Law

We are of course glad the Texas Heartbeat Law has been reinstated as a step toward peace and justice for persons of all sizes and stages of biological development, but until our culture does more to respect women and help couples facing unexpected pregnancies, we’re not surprised when this issue ping-pongs back and forth like this, and we remain just as committed to ending the local violence of abortion through love, compassion, and action, regardless of the laws and politics, by actually helping women without shame or judgement.
