On Monday, January 23, 2023, the El Paso County Commissioners passed on a resolution to “stand in solidarity” with the nation’s largest abortion corporation, Planned Parenthood. The commissioners quickly passed this resolution BEFORE allowing any public comment. Thankfully, Judge Samaniego jumped in and insisted that public comment be allowed, after which he voted against the resolution, but the votes cast prior to the public comments carried and the resolution was passed.
